Fernando Paredes García works as Drupal Software Architect for SGC and from some years ago is in a tour over Latin America to promote Drupal and Free/Libre Open Source Software. Him has also contributed close to 20 modules to the Drupal project.

In 2008 him founded the Drupal Peru community. During 2009 him organized the Software Freedom Day in Lima, Peru. In January de 2011, along with Nancy Contreras, they organized the very first Drupal Summit Latino in Lima, Peru. The event was a great success, having attendees from 20 countries.

Other activities include his participation as Permanent Member of Drupal Association from March 2010 to August 2011 and currently him is Advisory Board since October 2011. Him has been President of Comité Drupal Perú from April to August 2011. And in his spare time him is "Líder de Célula" (spiritual leader) in the evangelical church Iglesia "La Vid" in Lima, Peru.
