Fernando Paredes García from some years ago is in a tour over Latin America to promote Drupal and Free/Libre Open Source Software. He has also contributed over 20 modules to the Drupal project.

In 2008 he founded the Drupal Peru community. During 2009 he organized the Software Freedom Day in Lima, Peru. In January de 2011, along with Nancy Contreras, they organized the very first Drupal Summit Latino in Lima, Peru. The event was a great success, having attendees from 20 countries.

Other activities include his participation in the Drupal Association as Permanent Member from March 2010 to August 2011 and as Advisory Board from October 2011 to September 2012. He has been President of Comité Drupal Perú from April to August 2011. And in his spare time he is "Líder de Célula" (spiritual leader) in the evangelical church Iglesia "La Vid" in Lima, Peru.
